CHFE Palavěnka

Let's meet us

CHFE Palavěnka

Palavěnka is the youngest of the Mikulov ensembles. This ensemble was also formed on the initiative of Zlatka Krůzová, and so its origin is likewise connected with the elementary school in Dolní Věstonice, with the year of its founding being 1985.

What happened next?

The original intention of the leader Mgr. Hana Štanclová was to create a preparatory department with movement education for Palavánek. Regular conceptual work carried out in the form of play captivated the children so much that it was possible to turn the preparatory department into an ensemble for preschool and younger school-age children. Palavěnka has performed successfully at district and regional showcases, festivals, in Graz in Austria, at the Schönbrunn Palace Theatre in Vienna, at celebrations in Krumvíř, Lanžhot, Rohatec, and at the international festival in Luhačovice.

In 1990 the ensembles moved from Dolní Věstonice to the Mikulov house of children and youth (DDM), and in 2008 to the premises of the Mikulov art school, where they are based to this day.

The leaders of the ensemble today are Marie and Martina Dostálová.
