Repertoire

The repertoire of the NS Pálava ensembles draws on the regions neighbouring the Mikulov area, as well as on the regions from which people came to settle the Mikulov area after the Second World War.

DNS Palavěnka

The youngest children's ensemble focuses on children's games:

NS Pálava

The adult dance ensemble focuses on couple and figure dances from nearby as well as more distant regions, such as Podluží, Hanácké Slovácko, the Kyjov Dolňácko region, the Uherský Brod region and the Kopanice region.

Chorvatská svatba – a staged depiction of a Moravian Croat wedding, with wedding vrtěné dances, the young men's "skokak" dance and the capping of the bride, in cooperation with the senior ensemble; 25 min.

Pálavští senioři

The most recently formed ensemble of the association focuses not only on figure and couple dances but also on theatrical scenes with folk themes. The women's choir has a repertoire rich in songs from Hanácké Slovácko, Podluží, and songs of the Moravian Croats.
